HOLYOKE — A group of Holyoke residents is speaking out against a plan to build a large sports complex in Elmwood Forest, a 22.5-acre green space in the city’s Ward 3.
The forest, located in the historic Elmwood neighborhood, has become a symbol of community pride and environmental concern.
