The pedestrian who died after they were hit by an SUV in Bridgewater Tuesday evening has been identified as 55-year-old Bridgewater resident Lee Marie Hagerty, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday.
Bridgewater police responded to the crash at the intersection of Route 104 and Vernon Street around 5:15 p.m. and found that a Honda CRV had struck Hagerty, the district attorney’s office said in a press release. Emergency services took her to Boston Medical Center South in Brockton where she died of her injuries.
The 66-year-old man who was driving the SUV stopped at the scene, the district attorney’s office said. Authorities are still investigating the crash.
