The budget-focused Nothing Headphone (a) series is now available in its yellow colorway. This limited-edition was advertised prior to release with every other colorway option, but was always going to be part of a special run.
Headphone (a) isn’t Nothing’s first foray into over-the-ear audio. The Headphone (1) is a similar, but beefier option compared to the more affordable release. Where the Headphone (a) series brings some transparent elements, the Headphone (1) really made a statement with more details intrinsic to Nothing’s design blueprint.
But that choice allows the Headphone (a) series to add a pop of color. At launch, the company announced several colorways, including black, white, pink, and yellow. All except the latter were expected to launch first, and they did.
Nothing has now announced that the yellow Headphone (a) variant is up for sale. It’s currently available via pre-order for $199. The company website lists an April 9 shipping date, so the window to pre-order the sunny color option is only so long.
The yellow color has previously been pinpointed as a limited-edition model. It doesn’t seem that Nothing has shared surrounding details, though. After this pre-order period has passed, there’s no information on whether the yellow edition will stick around for long.
Whether you choose a standout color or not, the Nothing Headphone (a) comes with some surprising specs packed within. The headphones reportedly get up to 135 hours with ANC off, and 80 hours with the feature enabled. The design revolves around physical buttons, like a roller and paddle for volume and track control for music played through the 40mm drivers.
Nothing’s Headphone (a) is available now, and in yellow, on the company’s website or Amazon for $199.
