Mikey Lewis has declared that it would be a “dream” to one day play in the NRL, but the 23-year-old insists he is in no rush to leave Hull KR.
Lewis, who won the Man of Steel award last season, has played a key role once again this season, helping his side to the top of the table ahead of a trip to Leeds Rhinos on Friday, live on Sky Sports.
The half-back has contributed 15 tries so far this season and as his stock continues to grow, he admits he would like to test himself in the NRL in the future.
Speaking on The Bench, Lewis stated: “My dream’s always to go over there, to Australia.
“When the time will come, it’ll come.

“I just love watching the competition. It’s a fantastic league. Anyone can beat anyone.
“It’s just different over there. You know, lads who come over. Just the lifestyle of it and the whole… even outside of rugby, it’s totally different to here.
“I’m not putting any pressure on it. I love playing at this club. It’s given me so much on the field and so much off it as well.”

Lewis is contracted to his boyhood club until 2028 and returned from injury on Friday in the 28-14 victory over rivals Hull FC.
He insists his focus is on rewriting the wrongs of last season when Hull KR reached the Grand Final, but were beaten by Wigan.
And after becoming a father for the first time, Lewis feels the experiences of the last few months have left him feeling “more mature”.
“Last year was a massive year for me, obviously, picking up that [Man of Steel] award.” he added.
“But I’d 100% change it for that Grand Final ring.
“But the person I’m becoming is more mature, at least having to think what I do before I do it.
“These last few months in becoming a dad, I’ve had to change a lot. My lifestyle is good, but I’ve got a son now, so he’s top priority.
“Just becoming a man, it can be difficult, but I’m enjoying the journey.”

Bovey Belle hasn’t quite hit the heights for Olly Williams thus far, but she is not to be discounted with Darragh Keenan booked.
6.13 Hereford – In-form Camino Rocio looks to go 6-7 for the yard
Camino Rocio has been in amazing form since joining the Jim and Suzi Best yard from Henrietta Knight. He has progressed from a rating of 77 to 115 and looks to carry on his upward trajectory today in Class 4 company. Jonjo O’Neill Jr takes over from Sean Bowen in the plate.
A Definite Getaway got his head in front at Exeter when making all last time out. He looks to do the same again for the Bowen team with son James taking the ride again. He’s only been nudged up 3lbs for that success and should remain outside the grip of the handicapper for this contest.
Face d’Music has had wind surgery since his last run and has been off since December. He looks to kick his summer jumping campaign off in style.
7.13 Hereford – Tapley, Moveit Like Minnie and Clearance feature
A hot Class 4 handicap is the feature on the card at Hereford and the unpredictable Moveit Like Minnie lines up for Nigel Twiston-Davies. She has tended a habit to run out in the recent seasons and reverts to hurdles this time after doing causing carnage for her jockey at Kempton. She looks to get her season back on track today.
Tapley lowers his sights for Suzy Smith and has tried chasing this season but has shown that hurdles are more to his likening. This looks easier than what he has ran in most recently. Clearance looks to set his season off having had a prep run last month at Taunton and has dropped to a reasonable mark. Zhang Fei is also worthy of a mention after success last time out for the Fergal O’Brien team.

Justin Thomas ended his three-year winless run on the PGA Tour with a dramatic play-off victory at the RBC Heritage.
Thomas fired a bogey-free 68 at Harbour Town Golf Links to finish on 17 under alongside Andrew Novak, who mixed five birdies with two bogeys and missed an eight-foot putt on the 72nd hole to claim his maiden PGA Tour title.
The players returned to the par-four 18th for the play-off, where Thomas drained a 20-foot birdie on the first extra hole to claim his 16th PGA Tour title and first since his 2022 PGA Championship success.

Novak, playing alongside overnight leader Si Woo Kim in the final group, got up and down from a greenside bunker to birdie the par-five second but then missed from four feet to save par at the next.
Kim also bogeyed the third to briefly make it a four-way tie at the top of a congested leaderboard, only for Thomas and McNealy to edge ahead by taking advantage of the par-five 15th.

Novak posted back-to-back birdies from the fifth to edge ahead but bogeyed the par-three seventh after finding sand off the tee, as Thomas produced a remarkable approach from the rough at the eighth to set up a 12-foot birdie to move into the solo lead on 16 under.
McNealy missed a five-foot birdie chance at the driveable ninth to pull level with Thomas, who also closed out his front nine with a par, as Novak took advantage of that hole to reach the turn tied for the lead.

Novak recovered from a wayward tee shot at the 11th to drain a 15-foot putt to save par and stay tied with the lead, while Scheffler closed within two until he double-bogeyed the par-five 15th and bogeyed the 17th.
Harman also made a back-nine charge until he also found the water at the 15th, where Thomas ended a run of pars to by holing a 25-foot birdie to move one ahead with three holes to play.

Novak responded with a brilliant birdie from 15 feet at the 16th and had a glorious opportunity to win the tournament in regulation, having seen Thomas set the clubhouse target with three pars, only to miss an eight-foot birdie chance for victory at the par-four last.
Both players found the green in regulation on the first play-off hole, where Novak was unable to make his outside birdie chance from 35 feet and watched Thomas drain his effort to spark wild celebrations on the 18th green.

Justin Thomas: “It’s so hard to force the issue on a course like this. It’s so fast and so much fun to play. I’m really proud of myself.
“I’ve never made a putt to win a tournament before, of length. Been fortunate to have a lot of tap-ins but that was pretty cool. It wasn’t as fun as much as I thought it would be.”

Andrew Novak: “I’m not as frustrated as I thought I would be. I feel like I did a lot of good things. I’m pretty proud of putting myself in that position when I really felt like I wasn’t swinging it that great this week, the fact that I was able to scrap out almost a win with not really swinging my best.
“I hit a few good ones down the stretch, which was cool, because with the pressure on it usually gets tougher, and I was still able to pull off some shots. I was happy to see that. I thought I was a little more comfortable down the stretch than maybe I have been in the past.”
