The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 4 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until 8 a.m. for Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.
The weather service adds to be ready for, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”
“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” says the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
