Samsung’s new Galaxy Flip 7 FE is $200 off in the Amazon Labor Day sale ($400 under the standard model)
While the $300 price drop we are tracking on the more popular Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely a more alluring offer for many, those looking to get in on Samsung’s brand new foldable game can save a whole lot more with the Flip 7 FE – Amazon is now offering new all-time lows on at $200 off on both storage configurations.
Carrying over into its now live Labor Day sale, Amazon has both the entry 128GB model and the upgraded 256GB variant at $200 off the list prices:
Both models are currently up at full price directly from Samsung, providing you don’t want to trade up for them – you can land them at up to $500 off that way, which will bring the price down to as low as $300.
For many, the list prices on the new FE flippers is just too high by comparison to the standard models to jump in. But now at $200 off, or rather $400 less than the Flip 7 standard, the proposition perhaps becomes a far more enticing one for folks looking to save some cash on the new 7 series foldable lineup.

Acer’s Steam-ready Chromebook Plus 516 GE gaming laptop hits one of its lowest prices at $400
As part of its ongoing Labor Day sale, Best Buy is offering Acer’s Chromebook Plus 516 GE gaming notebook for $399.99 shipped. This particular notebook debuted last year with a $649 price tag and has mostly maintained that price, except for a few occasional drops to the $400 to $450 mark. It briefly hit $350 last month as part of the retailer’s Black Friday in July sale, and it’s now within $50 of that all-time low. This is one of the lowest prices we have tracked for this Chromebook since its debut, and you can learn more about it in detail below.
The Acer Chromebook Plus 516 GE stands out as a solid choice if you want a lightweight laptop that balances everyday productivity with a bit of casual gaming. This is a 2024 model that continues to deliver great value with an Intel Core i5-1240U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. It features a 16-inch display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate – better than what you’ll find on most Chromebooks in this range. What’s also good about this Chromebook is that you can run Steam on it, allowing you to access a wider library of games without any issues. Other highlights of this 516 GE model include a battery that’s rated for up to 10 hours of usage, an RGB keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E, and a 2.5G Gigabit Ethernet port for more reliable cloud gaming.
If you don’t mind spending more to pick up a Windows gaming laptop, Alienware’s latest Aurora 16 with an RTX 5060 GPU is down to $1,190. It sports a 16-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and is down from its usual price of $1,400.

Don’t want to spend $400+ on flagship ANC headphones? Bose QuietComforts now $229 (Reg. $359)
As part of the Amazon Labor Day sale, it is now offering the latest Bose QuietComfort Bluetooth Headphones down at $229 shipped in various colorways. You’ll also find this same deal live directly from Bose as part of its END-OF-SEASON sale event with even more color options.
This set fetched $349 up until recently when select/most Bose gear saw official price hikes in the U.S. (they now carry a $359 list price). Today’s offer is $120 under the previous list price and $130 less than the new MSRP for the lowest we can find.
This lands within $29 of this year’s Amazon Prime Day price to match the lowest we have tracked there this year otherwise. There have also been some one-off discounts elsewhere, like over at Woot, for a touch less than that, but just about none of those options had proper color options and/or the full warranty.
Anyone looking to purchase a new set of over-ears right now probably has a few brands in mind: Bose, Apple, and Sony (among a couple others). And considering the new Sony XM6 release was easily one of the more popular of the year so far, they are likely to land on the top of your list…until you realize they are $450. The XM6 are fantastic and I personally love them, but that’s a hefty investment to say the least and you had better be the type to really put your over-ears to good use to drop that sort of cash.
All of that is to say if you’re not looking to drop $400+ on a pair of headphones, the latest Bose QuietComfort Bluetooth Headphones are one of my personal top picks (when they are in the $199 to $299 price range). You’re getting that lauded Bose audio reproduction and world-class active noise cancellation, but still staying well away from that $400 investment.
