A $100,000 winning ticket was sold for Friday’s “Mass Cash” drawing, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery’s website.
The winning numbers for the drawing on Friday, Aug. 1, were 5,8,12,20 and 27.
The winning $100,000 ticket was sold in Rockland at Rockland Liquors, according to the state lottery’s website. Rockland is located in Plymouth County, about 20 minutes away from the City of Brockton.
Overall, there were at least 614 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Friday, including 48 in Boston, 11 in Worcester and 19 in Springfield.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The two largest lottery prizes won so far in 2025 were each worth $15 million. One of the prizes was from a winning “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket sold in Holyoke, and the other was from a “300X” scratch ticket sold on Cape Cod.
